Heat 2 started in the rain.

The dice between Alvin and Mike produced close racing between the two rookies  They were separated by 0.033second over the line!!!  Lap times were about 5 seconds slower for the Vee's and more than 12 seconds for the class A cars on slicks.
First race of 2010. Initially 15 cars were entered but only 10 cars were ready on race day.

As for on the track news the day got off to a slippery start as the track was very oily during practice and Mike A and Romanie had hectic spins -luckily no damage while others krept around the track posting very slow qualifying times.

NOTE
Alvin broke the 1:30 barrier in only his third (6th Heat) race weekend.  This is a rookie you need to watch out for.

Overall all times were better than the previous races.

Reg's car broke down in race one and developed an oil leak in race two.  This reduced the heat to 6 laps.
